#OOTD 22nd July, Indiana Pacers

I've been feeling so uninspired lately, I don't know if it's this less than summery weather or my lack of real free time but I just haven't been feeling like blogging. Not ideal! That changed this week and in between the rain showers and almost-gales, my friend Emma and I took pictures. Lots of pictures! And so I'm back, back home and blogging again. May writers block and lack of inspiration not stop me again. Oh yeah, I had my hair cut and coloured too, I needed a change. What do you think?

Basketball jersey, similar here. Skirt, ASOS. Trainers, similar here.

When I saw this basketball jersey on the Cow Vintage website, I couldn't resist. It's the perfect mix of sporty and cool and I've already worn it to death with half the things in my wardrobe. It looks great with boyfriend jeans and mules too, watch this space! I've also finally got my hands on this season's It Piece, the button up denim skirt. After seeing numerous variations I settled on this Pull and Bear version, I like the extra pocket detail. The thing I love most about denim is it's versatility and I know I'll be wearing this skirt until winter.

What are your hero buys this season? Leave me a comment!

#OOTD, 10th February, New Semester New Season

It may not feel like Spring  outside yet, but Spring has definitely sprung on the high-street! There are a few little hints of the new season in my ensemble today, but it's still too cold to go coat-less!
Today was my first day back at uni after the longest Christmas holiday and I was feeling rather fresh, so I went for lighter colours.

Shirt, ASOS. Jumper, ASOS (similar here). Bag, DKNY Active (sold out). Jeans, Topshop. Adidas trainers, ASOS

As always I'm wearing my trusty Joni jeans again but one of my New Years [Style] Resolutions is to experiment more with clothes so watch this space! How cute is this bag? I saw it in the ASOS sale and I had to have it - hello double denim! Winter is all about layering for me and I love the fit of this boyfriend shirt because it's long enough to layer under a knit, and it's also striped which I can't get enough of lately.

I also think I need to start doing things with my hair: the bed head look is getting old! If anyone has any easy tutorials or styles then leave me a comment because I need some inspiration!

I have to thank my bestie Shannon for taking these photos for me in the Sheffield Peace Gardens, although I'm not sure I like posing for photos in a busy public place!

#OOTD: 13th January 2015, Stripes and Flats

In my post last week I said my January is all about chilling out so I'm back with another casual outfit post.
I'm wearing two things here that I never normally do: a shirt and flat shoes. I know that sounds a little odd but I've never really liked this style of flat until recently and I just fell in love with this shirt when I spotted it in the ASOS sale.

As per usual, my shoes are another ASOS sale bargain by London Rebel, they were only £12! I've become a little obsessed with slipper style flats recently, and also with velvet so keep your eyes peeled for more of these.
I cannot get enough of my new Zara handbag, which was a Christmas present from my mum. It's the perfect size: big enough for essentials but small enough that it doesn't cause shoulder pain! I really love the quilted detailing too, it makes it look so much more expensive.
As it's still the middle of Winter, I had to pair my shirt with some fur and this gilet has been my favourite since about October. It was from Next and I believe it's sold out now, but I'm pretty sure with a hunt through the on-going sales you could find one like it.

I can't wait  to go shopping for the new season now that it's January and I already have a wish list which I will be posting soon. I'm loving the re-vamped sports luxe trend (which Topshop is doing extremely well) and also the military styling I've spotted on ASOS. What new season trends are you looking forward to? Leave me a comment!
