#OOTD 26th July Yoga Now, Wine Later

I'm definitely a trend-driven dresser but I like to put my own spin on the trends, after all, nobody wants to look exactly like everyone else!

Jeanssweatshirtmules all ASOS.

Can we take a moment to appreciate these jeans? I picked these ASOS 'Thea Girlfriend jeans' up in the sale for an amazing £11! I usually struggle to find loose jeans that fit me properly, but I took a chance on these and it definitely paid off. Black jeans are such a staple and these are something a little different from my usual skinny style.

For a relaxed weekend look, I'm a big fan of sweatshirts and ASOS have a great selection in at the moment. With these quirky slogans on, they just add a little extra to a really basic piece.

I've been interning at Exposed Magazine in Sheffield all Summer so far and I've been wearing heels A LOT, these mules are great for giving my feet a much needed break over the weekend. They are a perfect dupe of these Narciso Rodriguez Athena mules and at only £20 they are the perfect way to stay on trend without over-spending.

#OOTD 24th July, Jeans with a sun dress

British summertime is usually disappointing, but this year has been particularly dire! I've barely bought any sun dresses or shorts or anything this year, because there has been no sun!

Dress + Jeans, here and here. Sandals, similar here.

I've been dying to wear this dress but since the weather hasn't been that fantastic, I've been getting creative. Since a jacket would cover up the gorgeous back of this dress, I went for covering my legs and pairing it with jeans.
I wasn't so sure how this would look a first but I actually really like it, it's the perfect way to get wear out of dresses on less than than tropical days. I'll definitely be trying this outfit formula out with some of my other dresses and slim jeans.
If you hadn't already noticed, the ASOS sale has some amazing pieces and these jeans are just one of them! These are the 'Farleigh slim mom jeans' and I'm obsessed. They fit great and the denim is so soft, they are definitely going to become a staple in my wardrobe.

What do you think of pairing a dress with jeans? Would you ever try it? Leave me a comment!

#OOTD 22nd July, Indiana Pacers

I've been feeling so uninspired lately, I don't know if it's this less than summery weather or my lack of real free time but I just haven't been feeling like blogging. Not ideal! That changed this week and in between the rain showers and almost-gales, my friend Emma and I took pictures. Lots of pictures! And so I'm back, back home and blogging again. May writers block and lack of inspiration not stop me again. Oh yeah, I had my hair cut and coloured too, I needed a change. What do you think?

Basketball jersey, similar here. Skirt, ASOS. Trainers, similar here.

When I saw this basketball jersey on the Cow Vintage website, I couldn't resist. It's the perfect mix of sporty and cool and I've already worn it to death with half the things in my wardrobe. It looks great with boyfriend jeans and mules too, watch this space! I've also finally got my hands on this season's It Piece, the button up denim skirt. After seeing numerous variations I settled on this Pull and Bear version, I like the extra pocket detail. The thing I love most about denim is it's versatility and I know I'll be wearing this skirt until winter.
