#OOTD 26th July Yoga Now, Wine Later

I'm definitely a trend-driven dresser but I like to put my own spin on the trends, after all, nobody wants to look exactly like everyone else!

Jeanssweatshirtmules all ASOS.

Can we take a moment to appreciate these jeans? I picked these ASOS 'Thea Girlfriend jeans' up in the sale for an amazing £11! I usually struggle to find loose jeans that fit me properly, but I took a chance on these and it definitely paid off. Black jeans are such a staple and these are something a little different from my usual skinny style.

For a relaxed weekend look, I'm a big fan of sweatshirts and ASOS have a great selection in at the moment. With these quirky slogans on, they just add a little extra to a really basic piece.

I've been interning at Exposed Magazine in Sheffield all Summer so far and I've been wearing heels A LOT, these mules are great for giving my feet a much needed break over the weekend. They are a perfect dupe of these Narciso Rodriguez Athena mules and at only £20 they are the perfect way to stay on trend without over-spending.

#OOTD: 27th March 2015, Seventies Platforms

I have a confession to make: I am obsessed with suede. There, I said it! I've gone and bought another suede skirt but this one is extra beautiful so it was necessary. I'm also completely obsessed with this whole seventies vibe, as you are probably very aware. I can't get enough of platforms, flares and suede, it's definitely my favourite look for Spring.

Jumper, H&M (similar here). Skirt, Beyond Retro. Boots, Topshop (old, similar here).

How pretty is this skirt? I can't wait to wear it over the Summer with platform sandals and a t-shirt. Although I'm already tall, I couldn't resist these Topshop boots, they are veeeery high though so not for the clumsy or faint-hearted!
I think transitional outfits are always the the hardest because you can never really predict the weather, but layers are key. You can always add or take off a jacket or knit so they are ideal to pair with bare legs at this time of year.

NYFW : Catwalk Favourites

As usual the catwalks at New York Fashion Week were jam packed with fashion perfection, and this made choosing a handful of favourites incredibly hard.
I have however narrowed my favourites down and I liked each show for completely different reasons, but one thing is for sure... AW15 is looking stunning!

Tibi

Oversized. Fur. Knitwear. Need I say more?

Tommy Hilfiger

I love that sports luxe appears to be carrying on into AW, and Tommy Hilfiger has done it so beautifully here.

Carolina Herrera

I adore the colour palette of this whole collection, every piece flows like water.

Altuzarra

This collection just SCREAMS cool girl, and I love it!

Victoria Beckham

VB is the epitome of class and sophistication and the shapes here keep it looking fresh.

Michael Kors

Luxury and opulence reigned at Michael Kors and it was all incredibly wearable. I'm obsessed with the fur!

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs always manages to re-invent ladylike pieces and silhouettes, and this show was no exception.

Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg knows women, and women's bodies. Season after season she proves sexiness doesn't have to mean looking cheap.

Which shows were your favourites? Leave me a comment! Keep your eyes peeled for the rest of my fashion week faves coming soon!
