Kim Kardashian is a woman who polarises opinion: most either love her or hate her. I for one love her, and I literally cannot get enough of her family on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'.
As for her style, Kim has gone from favouring somewhat tacky looking bandage dresses (see here) to being photographed in chic and sophisticated neutrals. Her new taste for Tom Ford and Celine seems to stem from her relationship with the ever stylish Kanye West. Hurrah for Kanye!
I think it is pretty safe to call Kardashian a style icon now, she seems to be continuously nailing every outfit she steps out in. Furthermore, her close relationship with Givenchy Artistic Director Riccardo Tisci puts her inside a certain elite circle when it comes to the fashion world.

Statement coats paired with pencil skirts and crop tops are becoming a signature look of Kim's, I definitely approve! This Celine coat is gorgeous.
Monochrome. Draping. Laid back hair. This outfit is so chic, but screams business.
Kim really knows how to work her curves, hence her penchant for the pencil skirt. Also, she may be single-handedly bringing back the bodysuit.
Not many women can make a pair of skinny jeans look this good. Of course, almost anything looks good paired with Louboutin heels.
